Frequently our customers find themselves with labels that do not have the data displayed on them in a manner that is logical or useful. This is usually not as a result of poor initial design, but due to the constantly changing environment where the labels are used.
- An example might be when a program responsible for printing the labels is incapable of modifying the output to the printer in order to make the data appear on the label in the required format.
- In other cases the Information Technology department of a facility might be too backed up with work to make the necessary adjustments to add fields or move data on the label.
- Still another example might be the installation of automated equipment that reads barcodes from your labels and the new reader cannot read your printed barcodes for one reason or another.
JMI Barcodes can remedy all of the above situations and more by customizing the printers to rearrange the data on the label without adjusting or changing the output of the program responsible for printing them. Data can be automatically duplicated in multiple locations on the label, or converted to any number of barcodes or font types and placed in any location on the label. It is even possible to elect to withhold some fields from printing on the label.
